Salomonova mudrost je opjevana
u knjigama svetim je zapisana
tisućljeća od tad kroz djela i riječi
donijeli su dušama spokoj u sreći.

Da pravednost bez mudrosti nije
isto je danas kao nekoć davno prije
pravica i pronicljivost kroz dobrotu
omogućavaju suživot, brišu sramotu.

Istina oslobađa od patnje, jeda i boli
uz nju se radosno živi, surađuje i voli
jer čovjek je čovjeku blizak kao brat
pozvan da oplemenjuje, ne vodi rat.

Osjećaj za drugoga je temelj življenja
motivira i biva vrijedan pravog divljenja
tu smo gdje jesmo da bi zatvorili krug
u kojem je poštovanje put moguć i dug.

Posjedujemo talente, sposobnosti i um
percipiramo stvarnost, naš osobni drum
mijenjamo perspektive, one mijenjaju nas
u njima pronalazimo smisao, ujedno i spas.

Imamo želje, napose vrlo snažna htijenja
one su kompas svakog našeg opredjeljenja
nastojimo odlučiti dugoročno za više i bolje
treniramo upornost kao rezultat dobre volje.

Stremimo cilju bez obzira što nas čeka
više smo more, nego sama nabujala rijeka
nosi nas strast u onome što nas zadovoljava
iako se neizvjesnost u svakoj odluci pomalja.

Zakopano blago pronađeno na tuđoj njivi
kupujemo zdušno dajući sve, nismo krivi
za dragocijeni biser prodajemo sve što imamo
za kraljevstvo Božje radimo li ili samo snivamo?

Solomon’s wisdom has been sung,
in sacred books it has been written;
for millennia, through deeds and words,
it has brought peace to souls in joy.

That justice without wisdom is not,
is as true today as long ago;
fairness and insight through goodness
make coexistence possible, erasing shame.

Truth frees from suffering, anger, and pain;
with it one lives gladly, cooperates, and loves,
for a person is close to another like a brother,
called to uplift, not to wage war.

Care for others is the foundation of life,
it motivates and proves worthy of true admiration;
we are where we are to close the circle
in which respect is a possible and lasting path.

We possess talents, abilities, and mind,
we perceive reality, our personal road;
we change perspectives, and they change us,
within them we find meaning, and also salvation.

We have desires, especially strong intentions,
they are the compass of all our choices;
we strive to decide for more and
better in the long run,
we train persistence as a result of good will.

We strive toward the goal regardless
of what awaits us;
we are more like the sea than a swelling river;
passion carries us in what fulfills us,
even as uncertainty arises in every decision.

A buried treasure found in another’s field—
we buy it eagerly, giving all, without blame;
for a precious pearl we sell all we have—
for the Kingdom of God, do we act or only dream?
