Frekvencija me fascinira i preobražava
duboko u nutrini pobjeđuje i poražava
ostavlja mi tragove i ožiljke kroz zbilju
osjećam paralelno i ljubomoru i tugu
ne vjerujem što vidim, ali sam svjesna
odjednom mi soba postaje pretijesna.
Bježim izgubljena i prepadnuta s puta
Iza mene kamin, jedini ovdje oronuo i star
pun pepela i prašine, energije pun kao oltar
u njemu tigrić sa najnevinijim očima svijeta
pokraj njega šarena zmija, tako zlom oteta.
Agresivno ga grize, uzastopno tri puta
sad gleda me očima anđela i nevinog djeteta.
Iz straha, očaja prethodnog prizora strave
odjednom milina i radost mi teče do glave
sad gledam kroz prozor i mičem bijeli zastor
Vidim prekrasan povrtnjak obasut rosom
zelene srcolike salate tu pred mojim nosom

Frequency fascinates and transforms me,
deep within, it conquers and defeats me,
leaving traces and scars throughout reality,
awakening intentions and desires,
fanning the tip of the wick.
It gifts me dreams that I feel intensely,
without any thought of foreseeing them,
so real, or as if I were watching a film,
completely aware, I surrender with ease.
And I watch you embracing and
protecting that other woman;
I feel, in parallel, both jealousy and sorrow.
I cannot believe what I see, yet I am aware—
suddenly, the room becomes
far too small for me.
I flee, lost and frightened, from the path,
not knowing my goal or
which route is mine now.
I enter a house, though
I do not know to whom it belongs;
it feels safe to me, though
I have never seen it before.
Behind me is a fireplace,
the only one here, worn and old,
full of ashes and dust,
yet charged with energy like an altar.
Inside it is a tiger cub with
the most innocent eyes in the world,
beside it a colorful snake,
stolen away by evil.
Aggressively, it bites him
three times in a row,
but suddenly it falls dead—I see it
from the corner of my eye.
The tiger cub has not even
moved from its place;
now it looks at me with the
eyes of an angel and an innocent child.
From the fear and despair of
that previous terrifying scene,
suddenly tenderness and
joy flow to my head.
Now I look through the
window and draw
back the white curtain;
so much has passed through me,
like a solution.
I see a beautiful vegetable
garden covered in dew,
with green, heart-shaped
lettuces right before my nose.
How is it possible for lettuce
to grow in the shape of a heart?
As I wonder this, joy springs
forth from everywhere within me.
With love, Željka.
