Dolly Parton, toliko drugačija od drugih
sazdana od snova i očekivanja punih
kontrastom koji je jačao dojam i boje
u čijem srcu stihovi se oduvijek poje.

Taj nesavršen i hrapav njezin glas
taj asimetrično prepravljajući stas
sve te perike, šljokice, šminka, plastika
bile su estrada i marketinška gimnastika.

Šest desetljeća kontinuirane karijere
koje su pomicale postojeće barijere
tajno vjenčanje iz prkosa, želje i ljubavi
gdje se srce i interes sa okolinom sudari.

Trajalo je desetljeća, do kraja života
iako su imale sve mogućnosti grehota
oduprle su se svom svojom veličinom
jer samo se ljubav dokazuje jačinom.

Bez vlastite djece za toliku drugu
donacije su stizale u istome krugu
rad kroz brend i poslovno carstvo
humanitarno radi i sad prvoklasno.

Taj prst sudbine koji ju je čvrsto vodio
tek sad u smrti konačno je oslobodio
jer nije smogla snage stati bez maske u
prirodnosti javno bez dodavanja opaske.

Njeno srce i duša su bile čiste i jake
hrabrije od brige,nesigurnosti svake
razborom i primjerom dokazale zbilju
sve njene pjesme su u autorskom krilu.

Ni Elvis, niti cijela glazbena mašinerija
nisu od nje načinili cjenik takvih galerija
živjela je nebo i zemlju kroz svoju misiju
njen život te pjesme svjedoče i opisuju.

Dolly Parton,
so different from the rest,
made of dreams and
expectations expressed,
with a contrast that made
the colors glow,
In whose heart the
verses always flow.

That imperfect and
raspy voice she made,
that asymmetric form
where changes played,
all those wigs, the sequins,
makeup, plastic part,
were just stagecraft and
marketing as an art.

Six decades of a career
that stayed out long,
moving the barriers of
what was right and wrong,
a secret wedding born of
pride, love, and grace,
where heart and interest
clashed in that space.

It lasted for decades,
until the very end,
though they had every
chance to break or bend,
they resisted with all
their grand design,
for only love is proven
by its strength divine.

With no children of her own,
for so many more,
donation kept arriving
at the open door,
working through a brand
and a business state,
her charity lives on,
first-class and great.

That finger of fate
that led her secure,
only now in death has
set her free and pure,
for she found no strength
to shed the mask she wore,
to stand in nature publicly,
with no remarks anymore.

Her heart and her
soul were pure,
clean, and strong,
braver than the worries
that followed her along,
with reason and example,
she proved the truth so deep,
alk of her songs are in
her own arms to keep.

Not Elvis, nor the music
machine that rules the day,
could make her turn her
gallery into a price to pay,
she lived the sky and
earth through her
mission’s view,
her life and those
songs witness her,
whole and true.
